Perched on a limestone cliff roughly 150 metres above the Indian Ocean on the Uluwatu peninsula, Bulgari Resort Bali is an all-villa property blending Italian design sensibility (courtesy of architects Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel) with Balinese materials — hand-hewn volcanic stone, tropical hardwoods, and custom Bulgari-designed furnishings.
02The setting & rooms
Each villa is freestanding and private, with an open-air pavilion, terrace and plunge pool as standard — a genuinely different model from a multi-storey hotel, prioritising seclusion across three hectares of clifftop garden. A private funicular descends to the resort's own beach.
03Dining & facilities
Dining spans Italian (Il Ristorante), Indonesian (Sangkar) and beachside seafood (La Spiaggia), reflecting the resort's Italian-Balinese identity throughout. A working temple at the property's highest point remains in active daily use by staff.
