Sunset slots are the most popular and often need booking ahead, particularly in peak season — an earlier or later time of day offers a calmer, less crowded beach and often a more relaxed pace for the ride itself.

Wear clothes you don't mind getting a bit sandy or salty, and confirm the ride length and price upfront rather than assuming — operators along the same stretch of beach sometimes price similarly-framed rides quite differently.
