AYANA occupies a genuinely large stretch of clifftop on the Bukit Peninsula above Jimbaran — not one hotel but a complex of several properties (AYANA Resort, AYANA Segara, AYANA Villas and Rimba by AYANA) sharing 90 hectares of grounds, multiple pools and dozens of dining venues.
02Rock Bar
The property's signature feature is Rock Bar, an open-air bar built directly into the limestone cliff face roughly 14 metres above the Indian Ocean, reached via a small inclinator. It's consistently ranked among the world's best bars and is the main reason many visitors — staying at the resort or not — make the trip out to this stretch of coast specifically for sunset.
03Setting, rooms & the wider complex
Accommodation spans standard rooms through to private pool villas, with the resort's private beach and extensive spa (one of the largest thalassotherapy spa facilities in Southeast Asia) adding to the scale. Non-resort-guests can generally visit Rock Bar itself, though staying on-property removes the need to navigate access separately.
