01How we research each guide

Each guide is built around information that's reasonably stable — how a region is laid out, what a temple's dress code is, how a visa process generally works — rather than one-off details like exact prices that go stale within months. Where something genuinely changes often (see our visa rules page for the clearest example), we say so directly and point to where to verify it, rather than stating a number we can't guarantee.

02Keeping pages current

As the site grows, our plan is straightforward: revisit pages periodically, prioritise anything time-sensitive (rules, seasonal info, prices) for more frequent checks, and update the News department whenever something on the ground genuinely shifts. A "last checked" approach is more honest than pretending every page is permanently accurate.

03Corrections & feedback

If something on the site is wrong, outdated, or missing important context, we want to know — see our contact page. Independent sites like this one are only as good as the willingness to fix mistakes when they're pointed out.

04What we won't do

  • We won't publish fake or incentivised reviews.
  • We won't accept payment to rank a listing higher without disclosing it.
  • We won't present a single trip report as if it's comprehensive coverage of a whole category.
